Serving is a practical way to use your gifts, care for others, and take an active part in the life and mission of Rock Harbor Church.
Review the ministry opportunities listed here to learn how volunteers support worship services, children and youth, Bible studies, hospitality, events, administration, technology, and other areas of church life.

Hospitality Ministry
Help create a welcoming, organized environment for services, gatherings, and special events.
Opportunities may include:
- Ushers and greeters
- Pastor’s Reception hosts
- Front desk and information volunteers
- Coffee and donut ministry helpers
- Kitchen support
- Auditorium cleanup
- Wednesday evening dinner setup, service, and cleanup
- Wedding and funeral service or reception support
Children’s Ministry
Support children and families through classroom assistance, check-in, worship, activities, and behind-the-scenes preparation.
Opportunities may include:
- Teachers and classroom helpers for birth through sixth grade
- Children’s check-in volunteers
- Classroom and resource room organizers
- Snack preparation and inventory
- Game and activity helpers
- Children’s worship leaders
- Classroom toy organization and cleaning
- Substitute volunteers
- Rock Harbor Church mascot volunteers
Worship Team and Musicians
Serve as a vocalist or instrumentalist and help support worship during church services and other gatherings.
Bible Study and Small Group Leadership
Help lead an adult Bible study, fellowship group, or small group centered on biblical teaching and Christian community.
Administrative Volunteers
Assist the church office with administrative tasks, organization, and other practical needs.
Audio and Visual Team
Support the audio, video, presentation, and other technical needs of church services and special events.
Men’s Ministry
Help organize and support men’s ministry gatherings and events.
Opportunities may include:
- Iron Sharpens Iron coordination, registration, greeting, setup, and cleanup
- Golf tournament coordination and event support
- Men’s retreat planning and support
- Shooting event coordination and support
Women’s Ministry
Help lead, organize, and support Bible studies, fellowship opportunities, care ministries, prayer gatherings, and special events for women.
Opportunities may include:
- Morning or evening Bible study leadership and support
- Fellowship event decorating, refreshments, setup, prayer, and cleanup
- Women’s retreat planning and support
- Mom’s Group leadership and support
- Meal Ministry leadership and assistance
- New Mom Ministry leadership and mentoring
- Widows Ministry leadership and support
- Women’s event coordination
- Women’s prayer group leadership and support
Youth Ministry
Support students and youth ministry gatherings on Sundays and Tuesdays.
Opportunities may include:
- Being present and available to support students during youth gatherings
- Check-in and name tag assistance
- Stocking the youth ministry refrigerator
- Preparing Bibles for Sunday gatherings
- Picking up meals for Tuesday evening youth group
