Tye was born and raised in Bakersfield. He and his 3 brothers were raised by his dad after his mom left when he was about 4 years old. Tye accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in 2008, not long after God brought Tye his soon to be wife “Jenna” in 2010 and then they were married in 2011. They have 3 fur babies, Macie, Buddy, and Zoe.

Tye began going to Rock Harbor at the end of 2017. Then in 2021 God opened a door to do full time ministry so Tye left his job in the oil fields to fulfill his call to spread the Gospel through media at Rock Harbor Church as Media Director.
