Welcome to Calvary Chapel Piney Woods. We are a member of Calvary Chapel Association, a non-denominational, Christian church located in Longview, Texas. Our Pastor is Darin Bess. Our main focus is to equip the saints, fellowship as a church, and reach the lost.
We love Jesus and want to help you know Him better. We believe that studying God’s word, the Bible is the best way to achieve this. During our Sunday services, we study God’s word verse-by-verse and chapter-by-chapter. Expository teaching equips you to study the Bible, so you know and can apply God’s will to your own life.
We believe that worship should not only emphasize biblical truths through song but should also be enjoyable. Although we value hymns and include them in our worship time, we primarily sing contemporary worship songs.
