Calvary Chapel Montesano

We are a Bible church. We study the Bible verse by verse. We are passionate about serving Jesus and the Body of Christ. Our main emphasis during our Sunday morning gatherings and midweek Bible study is the teaching of God’s Word. We also spend time in prayer, worship and fellowship of believers. We do not prescribe to reformed theology. We are neither Calvinistic nor Arminian, but biblical – in our soteriology. We are dispensational and Pre-tribulational in our eschatology. We believe that we are called to be a light in this world, and as such we have decided that though the government may have ideas about what a church should do we do not answer to the government. During the “pandemic” we continued to keep the church doors open for those who wanted to attend and after the first month we begin to actively call the church back to gather together as that is our mandate as followers of Christ. While this brought us into opposition with the local authorities as well as some other churches we believe strongly that this is what we were called to do. All that to say, after reading the Rock Harbor Statement of Faith and watching Pastor Brandon’s video, I feel we are part of the remnant church and would be appropriate for the Church locator.
